Creating Value

Emerisque Brands, founded in 2004, is a unique private investment firm and general partner seeking to generate emerging market returns on a risk-mitigated basis in the consumer goods sector. We invest in proven European and U.S. brands and vertical retailers with a substantial and mature brand franchise in their core markets, that can be rapidly scaled in the newer world economies. We are largely product agnostic in considering brands that meet our investment criteria. We take the long view toward value creation and are willing to stay involved with an investment for longer than would be the case for pure financial investors, without compromising on our value maximization agenda.

Emerisque believes the emerging markets, in particular the CRIM countries - Greater China, Greater Russia, India, the Middle East and North Africa - represent the biggest value growth opportunities for international consumer brands for the foreseeable future. What makes us unique amongst global investors in mid-sized consumer brands is our ability to effectively execute on the theory –operating  dynamically in the mature markets whilst simultaneously seeking growth in the emerging markets. Seeking growth from emerging markets is now generally recognized as a valid strategy, but the execution requirements and risks without localized expertise are also increasingly understood to be significant.
